I have installed a faster and more secure forum registration process on this website.
Users will now be able to self activate their new account and start using the forum immediately, just be sure to follow the simple instructions on the registration form carefully. It is designed to deny BOTs.

Bumping this thread to draw attention to a few facts.
When people interested in joining this forum are completing the application form, they must take their time and be careful. In particular if you are being asked to remove something from a field. The automated process is designed to reject BOTs so relies on a human factor, but that in itself requires you read carefully and follow the instruction carefully. Many hundreds of applications have been rejected in the past few months - its a given that some of those where from legit people who simply did not do something right. Once you fill in the form and are deemed "human" acceptance of your application is instant. The application tests are not an intelligence test or a trick, its simply a way to avoid unwanted spam. But if you keep getting rejected you can always email me for help.
